The bi-annual reunion of the USS Waller met in Lexington, Kentucky from September 18 until September 21, 2013.
In attendance where forty-two former crew members plus their wife, children or friends.
The reunion was held at the beautiful Embassy Suites on Newtown Pike in Lexington.
The group toured several points of interest in the Bluegrass area of central Kentucky including two
Thoroughbred horse farms, Keeneland Race Track, a bourbon distillery, Berea, and Renfro Valley.
The men enjoyed retelling stories from their days aboard the USS Waller. Many memories and friendships
were rekindled. And new friendships were made with the new attendees to the reunion.
The next reunion will be held in Pensacola, Florida in 2015. Watch this web site for more details in the future.
We would like very much to have anyone who served on the Waller attend.
